- The final section of the workshop was a look at the new capabilities in detecting changes in patent reports. The slides from our workshop at the 2019 EPO Patent Information Conference are a good resource for this topic.

Workshop Description
BizInt Solutions is pleased to offer a workshop in conjunction with the PIUG 2020 Biotechnology Conference
In this workshop we will show how to use BizInt Smart Charts for Patents to create reports from sequence searches on GenomeQuest and STN.
We will then use BizInt Smart Charts Reference Rows to summarize sequence hits from the same family, both from within a single database and from multiple different collections.
If you bring your laptop, we will provide sample data so that you can follow along. Access to a trial of BizInt Smart Charts for Patents will be provided if you are not a customer.
As always, we'll keep you up to date on other developments in the BizInt Smart Charts product line -- including BizInt Smart Charts for Patents and VantagePoint - Smart Charts Edition.
This workshop is for both current users of BizInt Smart Charts and VantagePoint and others interested in new tools for analysis and presentation of IP information.
The workshop is free.
Workshop Presenter
John Willmore is co-founder of BizInt Solutions Inc., and manages the development of all aspects of the BizInt Smart Charts product line. John has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and over 20 years of experience developing software to work with patent and IP sequence data. Outside of work, John plays ice hockey and enjoys training and competing with his longhaired dachshunds.
