Like most Windows software, BizInt Smart Charts typically requires administrator privileges to install. Depending on local policies, upgrades may not require administrator privileges.
BizInt Smart Charts installation has been designed to minimally affect system configuration. All application files are installed into the specified target directory (or sub-directories). No files are added to system folders. Details of the installation process can help you plan for installation.
Registry changes are made to register a small number of file types used by the BizInt Smart Charts applications. No other changes are made to the registry. Installation should be run under the user's account so that the file associations are available to the user.
All BizInt Smart Charts products are 32-bit Windows desktop applications. We officially support Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
BizInt Smart Charts software will only run under .NET based Windows versions (from Windows Server 2003 to date) if an explicit exception is granted from the Data Execution Prevention rule. On at least one occasion a customer installing under Windows 7 could not run BizInt Smart Charts until a DEP exception was created.
BizInt Smart Charts does not run natively on Mac OS X, but has been tested and used under Bootcamp and Parallels.
Exports from BizInt Smart Charts are compatible with Office 2000, 2007, and 2010, 2013, 2016 and 365 (Word and Excel).
BizInt Smart Charts applications require minimal system resources beyond those of a basic Windows installation.

All BizInt Smart Charts sortware, including BizInt Smart Charts Lite, carry an export classification ECCN number: EAR99 (self-certified).
If you are no longer a licensed BizInt user, you should uninstall any BizInt Smart Charts software on your PC.
