BizInt Smart Charts products may crash when launched without any error report. This is due to a core library in the software which is not Windows 7 compliant.
This problem appears on .NET based versions of Windows, including:
A similar problem has been reported in Citrix installations on Windows Server 2003.
An explicit exception must be granted to the application executable from the Data Execution Prevention rule.
You must have Administrator privileges in order to make this change.
To configure DEP settings
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.
Click the Advanced tab. Then, under Performance, click Settings.
Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
